This allows your child to see their project take shape from beginning to end. Following a step-by-step method, students will learn how to draw, mix colors, and apply brushstrokes to their masterpieces. During our weeks together we will use different medias like, pencil/charcoal, colored pencil, acrylic paint, oil pastels, etc. This semester we will explore many artists and their styles such as Frida Kahlo, Andy Worhol, Claude Monet, and much more! I like to lead my students through different types of art so they can have a rounded experience and be pulled out of their comfort zone. The class will use the "Who Was" book series as the starting point to engage in discussion, drama and project assignments.
